In 1956 Evangelos Ioannou started engraving of gravure cylinders for packaging for food industry .
In 1970, after gaining the experience of 14 years, founded in Athens a small unit for the chemical etching that Egue technological developments in packaging for food industry and extending its knowledge and constantly improve the quality of its product.
In 1990, the operation of the company leads to the growth and expansion and the transfer in the industrial area of Inofita. The company is now directed by Yannis Ioanou that, following the philosophy of growth from his father, applied for the first time in Greece electronic engraving for packaging for food industry .
Today, ICR-IOANNOU is the biggest producer of gravure cylinders for packaging for food industry in Greece and one of the largest in Europe, Middle East and North Africa. The total quality policy applies to the final product, to customer service, but also for investments in new technologies and human potential.
